This 13th annual golf tournament was held at Cotton Valley Golf Course on October 26, 2024. Fairway 4 A Better Life is a non-profit organization that introduces North Carolina’s youth to the game of golf and helps groom junior golfers with the skills to pursue golf as a career, hobby or a business opportunity. It was a beautiful day for golf, with 12 teams participating and the support staffs of the Cotton Valley and Fairway 4 A Better Life. The winning teams – Cotton Valley at 54, Martinez at 57, JBoyd at 58 and Seaborn at 60. Closest to the pin winners were Sonny Lawrence #3, Marty Martinez #6, Wayne Tyler #12, Rufus #15 and Russ Eley #18. The longest drive winner was Marcus McDonald. Congratulations to everyone in making this a truly successful event.
