The annual Cotton Growers Tournament will be held Friday, June 20th. The course will be closed to open play until 3:30pm. Be sure to make your tee time reservations if you wish to play after the tournament.

The course will be closed Monday, June 16th, due to extremely wet conditions. The area received between 5.0 and 3.5 inches of rain last night.

Congratulations to Lucas Drake, North East Carolina Prep, and Cole Craddock and Camden Matthews, Tarboro High, for advancing to the State Golf Championship. The 1A Championship will feature two 18h-hole rounds across Monday and Tuesday. The championship will be held at the Longleaf Golf & Family Club in Southern Pines.

The Fore Every Child Golf Classic Tournament to benefit Down East Partnership for Children was held at Cotton Valley Friday, April 25. It was an outstanding day for the event and golf outing. When the two-year memberships were introduced several years ago the intent was that the golfer would rent a cart when they played. Most of these members now walk the instead of renting a cart. So, to make it fair to the members who are paying for a full membership the following fees will be established…
